Ok my 1st purchases have been made,

They consist of

1, Necron Lord on destroyer body

2, Necron Lord with rez orb

3, £50 Necron box set which has 24 warriors, 7 scarab bases and 3 destroyers.

So all being well and my wife and daughter allowing I will start building tonight.

Apoc Army

So yet another 40k project begins. This Necron army that I am proposing to build has come about because I am fed up with getting bored when it comes to painting troops choices over and over again that seem to take ages, I think I can build a cool and well painted army that wont take up so much of my time. I plan on going for a rusted effect much like the effect I have used on my Ogre Kingdoms weapons.  Not really sure what models to buy and what my army will consist off, but I do know that there will be a lot of warriors. I stayed away from Necrons for a couple of years mainly because a buddy of mine has such an extensive army of them, but no more. along with my Space Wolves project this will be my aim for this year 5000pts. A large aim but when it comes to painting necrons quite acheivable too. I will post a couple of samples before I get stuck into 1 paint scheme.
